Broomfield, CO, United States, 30th Jan 2024 – Colorado Lightning, a competitive youth basketball club serving the Denver metro area since 2013, has announced tryouts for its 2024 spring and summer travel teams. Tryouts will be held on February 26th and 27th at Thornton, Broomfield, Westminster and Northglenn locations.  

The club is looking to build on an incredible run of success in recent years, including championships across multiple leagues and tournaments:

  • 17u JAM league 5v5 champions
  • 16u Back Bigfoot tournament champions 
  • 16u White JAM summer champions
  • 15u 9th Grade JPS league champions
  • 8th Grade 3v3 JPS league champions
  • 7th Grade JPS league and JAM summer champions  
  • 6th Grade iHoops tournament champions
  • 5th Grade Riseup tournament champions
