Great Boulder Resources Ltd (ASX:GBR) managing director Andrew Paterson sits down with Proactives Jonathan Jackson to talk through gold intersections and extended mineralisation at Saltbush prospect. The company has intersected gold over a strike of more than 300 metres along the Ironbark corridor of the Side Well Gold Project in Western Australia. Recent aircore drilling unearthed several gold hits and the company is now starting to fill in the gaps along the corridor. Aircore drilling has extended the known gold mineralisation at Saltbush along strike in both directions and results will be followed up in the next drill campaign starting in March. The company has also identified a new target 400 metres away with extremely high levels of Mulga Bill-style pathfinder elements. Paterson said the company looked to have both styles of mineralisation within the Ironbark corridor target area which is an exciting development.
Our early-stage exploration within the Ironbark corridor is looking very exciting as we start to fill in the gaps," Paterson said. "Firstly, aircore drilling has extended the known gold mineralisation at Saltbush along strike in both directions. These results will be followed up in the next drill campaign starting in March.
Secondly, weve identified a new target 400 metres away with extremely high levels of Mulga Bill-style pathfinder elements. The peak bismuth value is approximately 10 times higher than anything weve seen at Side Well before, with elevated gold, silver, molybdenum and copper which are characteristic of Mulga Bill."
